Ph.D. in Economics from EPGE/FGV (2003) and Master’s degree from the same institution (1996), Osmani holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from PUC-RJ. A staff member at the Central Bank of Brazil, he is dedicated to developing econometric models to support monetary and financial policy decisions. With participation in various international conferences and publications in international journals, he is an associate researcher at the FGV Growth and Development Studies Center. He has experience in international technical cooperation missions by the IMF and the Central Bank of Brazil, in addition to extensive work as an economics professor. His main areas of interest and expertise include time series modeling, macroeconometrics, and financial econometrics.
