Giovanni Maggi is the Howard H. Leach Professor of Economics & International Affairs at Yale University. He is a faculty research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He also serves as co–director of the Leitner Program in International and Comparative Political Economy at Yale University. He is currently Co-Editor of the Journal of International Economics, and was previously Associate Editor of the American Economic Review. His academic interests include international trade, political economy and the economics of contracts and organizations. He has written numerous articles for a variety of economics journals, including the American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy and The Quarterly Journal of Economics.
