Andres Carvajal is a Professor at the EPGE Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE). Before joining EPGE, he received a Ph.D. in Economics from Brown University, has completed a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cowles Foundation at Yale University, and worked at the universities of Warwick (UK) and Western Ontario (Canada).

His research is in Mathematical Economics, focusing primarily on the intersections of Microeconomics and Finance, but recently he started researching on Economics of the Environment.
