André Trindade is a Professor at the EPGE Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE).  He received his PhD in Economics from Northwestern University in 2011 and his B.A. in Economics at Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon. His research is focused in the areas of Empirical Industrial Organization and Applied Microeconomics. Recently, he has worked in estimating structural demand models to study competition in the supermarket sector.
