Nobel Prize John Nash at EPGE

FGV EPGE - the Graduate School of Economics welcomed last Friday, August 1, the 1994 Nobel Laureate in Economics, Professor John Nash, during the workshop "Teoria dos Jogos” (Game Theory). The event - part of the cycle of Game Theory Society workshops - was partnered by the Institute of Applied Research (Ipea) and the Economics and Politics Research Group (EPRG).

During the meeting, a tribute was made to Professor Marilda Sotomay, who has carried out pioneering studies on Game Theory in Brazil. The Minister of the Strategic Affairs Office to the Presidency, Marcelo Neri, and the president of Ipea, Sergei Suarez Dillon Soares, attended the ceremony.
