Former Professional Master's Student at the EPGE Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE), Leonardo Fernandes Ferreira, won first place in the IESS award in the Economics category.
Leonardo joined the Professional Master's Degree at EPGE in 2018. The Master's thesis entitled Delimitation of relevant health plan markets and concentration analysis was prepared under the guidance of EPGE Professor Eduardo Pontual Ribeiro.
The Institute for Supplementary Health Studies (IESS) is a non-profit organization with the objective of promoting and carrying out studies on supplementary health based on conceptual and technical aspects that contribute to the implementation of policies and the introduction of best practices. It is a national reference in supplementary health studies for its technical excellence and independence, for the production of statistics, policy proposals and the promotion of debates that lead to the sustainability of supplementary health.
