Throughout its history, the EPGE Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE) has maintained its commitment to teaching and research excellence, which has proudly brought academic leadership in Latin America. It has always sought to provide a dynamic environment rich in debates, both academic and public policy.
In these 60 years, many EPGE professors and students have contributed to facing important economic challenges in the country, engaging in policy formulation and in the development of the private sector. To celebrate, a FGV EPGE 60 Years workshop will be held with lectures and round tables with former students. In addition, we will be honored to have special lectures from the 2014 Nobel Prize in Economics Jean Tirole (Toulouse School of Economics) and John Cohrane (Hoover Institution, Stanford University).
