The doctoral student at EPGE Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE), Letícia Nunes, won the Haralambos Simeonidis 2020 award in the Thesis category. The result was announced at the 48th National Meeting of Economics promoted by the National Association of Postgraduate Centers in Economics (ANPEC).
Letícia joined the EPGE Doctorate in 2015, and was also a student in the School's Undergraduate and Academic Master's programs. The doctoral thesis entitled Essays in Health Economics was elaborated under the guidance of EPGE Professor Francisco Costa.
Created in 1982 by ANPEC, the Haralambos Simeonidis Award aims to encourage reflection and research activities in economics in Brazil. The best works in the articles, books and doctoral theses categories are awarded annually.
